Financial Planning Next Steps

 

Now that you've purchased your financial plan, it’s time to get started. On this page, we’ll walk you through the next steps, including how to submit your information, book calls with our planners, and what to expect as we begin building your personalized retirement plan.

 

STEP 1: Financial Planning Questionnaire

A member of our client service team will reach out within 2 business days with a Financial Planning Questionnaire (FPQ). Please add [email protected] to your safe sender list.

STEP 2: Return FPQ

Complete the Financial Planning Questionnaire and send it back to our team. We will include all instructions in the email. Please fill it out as best you can. If there are any sections you're unsure about, just make a note on the form. We will guide you through it during your 30-minute FPQ call (see Step 4).

STEP 3: Book Plan Presentation

Once we receive your completed questionnaire our team will send you a link to book your 60-minute zoom call for your plan presentation. We are currently booking 8-10 weeks from the time we receive your completed questionnaire. Availability can vary.

STEP 4: 30 Min Review Call

One of the CFP® professionals from our planning team will reach out to book a 30-minute preliminary phone or Zoom call with you to review your questionnaire and any other questions you have before they start building the plan.

STEP 5: Build Plan

Your CFP® professional will work on building out your plan based on the information provided on the FPQ and preliminary call to ensure the final plan meets your needs. We will email you a sample video of our software so you can become more familiar with what you will be looking at during the zoom plan presentation.

STEP 6: 60 Min Plan Presentation

Have your 60-minute zoom plan presentation with one of our CFP® professionals and work through your financial plan with them – making any necessary adjustments.

STEP 7: Plan Delivery

Receive your Retirement Guide and implementation package within a week of your presentation.

STEP 8: Email Support

You will receive three months of email support from our office to help you with any questions around your plan, or financial questions in general. We encourage you to email us your questions – or send a screen-recorded video if that's easier. Some questions can be answered over email, and for others, we’ll schedule a phone call to review together.
